I did visit the manufactures websites and could not find anything newer or drivers that helped fix the problem. I think I am using the latest drivers for the hardware. it seems to happen with more frequency and not necessarily when using the DVD drive. Or, it could crash in the middle of burning a DVD. It crashed about 50% or 50% success rate.
